On Friday, I turned 21.

On Friday I turned 21.

Two of my best friends from england came to stay with me for the weekend.

We went for a bboying practice!

Cuddle time!

My beautiful roommate and best friend, Marie :)

Birthday chinese take out feast!

Somehow I ended up crying. I don’t know when I become so damn emotional but it is really quite disgusting! I was just so grateful and moved by all my friends and family who made my day so special. Oh, stop! I started crying at the dinner table itself. It was VERY awkward to say the least. No body knew what to do. The guys at the table literally sat in silence for the entirety of my crying. I should come with a warning label, geez!

We went for a road trip!

My birthday gift – a handsome man outside my window! Ooh lala!

This is what we saw on our road trip.

This is emma laughing and looking delightful.

Michelle, Emma and Becky :)

Watch this space because I have a couple of posts in mind that I would like to share with you.

More photographs from my lovely weekend with the girls.

And of course, a post about what turning 21 means to me, and some goals and plans I have set for myself for my 21st year of life!

Take care

  1. Happy belated birthday! I heard that if you turn 20/21 in London and you visit a pub, the pub owner would get everyone to sing to you.. and get a free beer! Your birthday sounds amazing.. it seems like it was celebrated over the course of two days than one, haha.

    • Thanks Jessica :) Well I didn’t get a free beer (And I don’t like beer ;) ) but I did get some dessert with a candle in it (For free!).

  2. Happy birthday, you’re a beautiful girl, inside and out, from what I’ve read about you thus far. And don’t beat yourself up about the crying spell- I’ve become more emotional as I’ve gotten older (I’m 26) blame it on changing hormones I guess! :D

  3. Happy Belated birthday,
Beautiful Malavika! May your life be filled with peace, love and happiness xxxxx Love Darlene (hope to see you this summer?)
