2 days ago the Freshly Pressed fairy had visited me over night, blessing me with my third Freshly Pressed blog post in 5 months. 3 in 5 months. I know. How does that even happen?
As aforementioned, my prior 2 FP’ed posts were photography posts, and though I was nothing short of grateful – it was my personal mission to be freshly pressed for my writing. This is really an honor.
I am overwhelmed with the stats over the last few days, with over 21,000 hits (rounded down, and still counting…) in just two days.
I want to just take a moment to thank everybody who shared my blog on twitter, facebook, wordpress, and stumbleupon – I trust that it will return to you multiplied- as all good things in life do, when you share it.
To everybody who *liked* and commented on my post, thank you for contributing to the expanding sense of positivity and community here.
To everybody who subscribed to my blog – thank you for supporting a hobby that genuinely brings me a lot of joy. I hope to give you something to make you stick around!
To everybody who wrote me some weird and wonderful e-mails, with the most lovely compliments about my blog, many interesting questions and conversations starters – I really appreciate it, read every single one, and I will try my very hardest to get back to all of you.
And to all my fellow nerds. I salute you. I didn’t realize there were so many of us out there.
Man, I could write a killer Oscar speech, don’t cha think?
Right now I am in Vancouver airport returning to Ireland for my second year of medical school. I love free wi-fi (what’s up with the lack of free wi-fi in europe?) and airport lay-over times are great free pockets in time to create some pretty spectacular blog posts. But I will refrain. I want to instead focus this blog post on my gratitude. And also because I’m kind of hungry and need to start hunting for food
With all my new subscribers, this is kind of like beginning a new relationship together. You know, you don’t want to give away too much too soon. You don’t want to overwhelm anybody on a first date. But the 3rd and 4th date? That’s when you can let all your crazy hang out! I’m just playing with you guys.
Thank you. ♥
